High Desert Protocol (HDP) is a members-based hospitality and cultural collective rooted in the California desert. Spanning from Yucca Valley to Landers to Bombay Beach, HDP is desert hospitality for the feral, the philosophical, and the sublime. Imagine the Ace Hotel rewilded, the W stripped naked under the stars, a Fellini dream shot in infrared.

All properties have been designed and developed by my partner and co-founder, Tao Ruspoli. ​Our flagship property is the Compound in Yucca Valley, a 6-acre compound that can sleep 20+ guests. The Compound features an 80-foot concrete swimming pool, large hot tub, ten bedrooms (houses and trailers), five bathrooms, three kitchens, and our newly launched Quonset Hut - a large multipurpose event space for performances, music recording, screenings, dinner parties and events. We also have properties in Landers and Bombay Beach. 

In addition to curating short-term rentals, we host events, retreats, parties, shoots, and more. At the end of 2025, we'll be launching our various social packages: pool club, wellness club, and co-working.​
